It’s true--to have hate in your heart is to
commit one of the meanest kinds of sin. Of course, the Bible is my guide, and John 3:15 says, "Whosoever hateth his
brother (any other person) is a murderer; and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him."
And there’s more to hatred than everlasting
punishment. That bitterness is boiling inside your body, like the molten lava in a volcano. And it’s harming you in
ways you can’t imagine. So don’t be surprised when serious ailings interrupt your life.
This comes to my mind because of the outburst of
hate that came after the presidential election here in the states. All down through our history, the losing side has been
disappointed, but to cause injury to persons and property, just to show rejection, is a first in our memory.
The guilty should bear in mind that hate harms the
hater, much more than the one hated. It eats you up, physically, mentally, and worst of all, morally. Satan is having a
field day now. It rivals his "Three Day Party," as I called the Conquest article I wrote, concerning the devil’s
celebration for the three days between the crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Mark my words; there is going to be feelings of remorse and sorrow
in days and years to come, over the hostility that has followed that election. If you’re among the guilty, you should
apologize to the new president, and you must ask forgiveness from God. Otherwise, even the death that comes to all of us,
won’t free you.
