This guy gets to the major league baseball game late, and it's a no-hitter for both teams, and is tied 0-0 in the 9th inning, and he says, "Good, I haven't missed anything."
Obviously, he's not a baseball fan. To any person who doesn't get it; for any pitcher to have a no-hitter in the ninth inning, baseball fans consider it a great thing to be seeing such a game that will go in the record books...A no-hitter is the dream of any pitcher, but a no-hitter by neither team is not to be believed, and has never been done. A fan who would be present at such a game would never get enough of telling anyone who would listen, that he was there.
And you know...there are going to be people just as lost, when the Rapture comes, but it won't take long for them to realize that it's too late for them to do a thing they'd been putting off. First Corinthians 15:51-52 tells about it nicely, but First Thessalonians 4:16-17 is in more detail: "For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first (in their new heavenly bodies), then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds; to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
I have a habit of being for the loser, but not on Rapture day...or night. I'd like for there to be no losers there, but it's going to be time for the winner to meet Christ in that great Cloud Reunion. I'll have to part company with them. If you're in that sad number, it's not too late. Tell the Lord to put your name in his Book of Life, then live for Him. It's coming. billthorntonconquests.com
