Words Of Influence
It has suddenly come to my mind, that I've been using a poor choice of words in describing my life since the virus made a "jail" of my home. My age was a big factor in the authorities ruling of "no visitors, and no visiting others." It has kept me at home since March, but it's been a royal blessing for my daughter Laura and her husband Steve, to came to live with us, way back when my wife, Louise, went into Alzheimer disease. And when she had to become a patient, Steve and Laura did a fine thing in staying with me, so I wouldn't have to face life alone.
In fact, if it hadn't been for them, I'm sure I would have been like the apostle Paul, when he said, in the Philippians 1:21,, that "for me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." He preferred to stay on earth, to help bring more sinners to Christ. I had the same feeling, because I was in my own home, with my computer and website that allows me to do as Paul, in reaching out to the lost.
Laura and Steve have made it possible for me to be useful to the Lord, and there's one more hero in this saga. Dennis Jacobs, the computer pro at his business, Computer Aisle here in Butler, is the only one able to help me from the start, in figuring out changes the internet does without notice. He's helped me do the same thing the apostle Paul did, in his time…to spread the New Way.
And so this "team" for the Lord's work goes on at my house. Bible prophets couldn't describe what I think are Radio, TV, and the internet, about getting God's word to everyone in the world. Matthew 10:26-27 and Luke 12:3, are just two of those places. Try describing an invention you've never dreamed of!
If you haven't already given your heart to Jesus, do it, then read your Bible. it's a most interesting road map.
